Couldn’t ask for more. Very welcoming. Chef within full view. I had mixed meat on skewers with chips and salad with a Sagres beer, finishing off with a coffee. All typically Portuguese. Great value for money.
Wasn't sure about this little cafe when I found it on Google maps but popped my head in before confirming and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely welcome from the staff , decor and smells coming from the kitchen. Stayed for a selection of Portuguese tapas which was amazing. Especially the gambas and the chorizo New favourite restaurant in Plymouth. Even went back for morning coffee and pastries
This place really makes you feel like you’re on holiday in Portugal. Soo delicious. This is not our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. Some of the best food in Plymouth.
If you are new to Portuguese cuisine it is one of the most diverse and at the same time most satisfying cuisines in Europe and as good as it is there is a lot more to it than Peri Peri Chicken. We have been to Portugal many many times from Braga and Giumares in the north to Beja and Evora in the south and what this restaurant does is completely replicate those dishes from the different areas, add to this really good staff and a fantastic atmosphere this has to be one of the best restaurants in Plymouth.
